The Wronged Mother

Selling everything she owned, Catherine put in a lot of effort to help her son Damien pay for college. Damien moved to the city, settled down, and soon Catherine learned that her daughter-in-law, Ravenna, was expecting a second child. Eager to see Damien and Ravenna and greet her grandson, she hurried from the countryside to the city. However, Damien deceives his spouse and rejects her as his mother, referring to Catherine as his aunt instead. Later, Ravenna slanders her for stealing when she is brought straight to her son's home to serve as a nanny.
